To whom it may concern,

As I cannot be there in person for the March 6th meeting, I wanted to send in my support for the townhouse proposal located at 898/914 Klahanie Dr.

As a single mother I know how hard it is to find affordable housing that's more than just a 1 bedroom basement suite for an ever growing family. Single family housing is far too expensive for the average family and having these new affordable builds ‐ that would have a 3‐4 bedroom option none‐the‐less ‐ would increase access to many families! In today's market, young families (just like myself) just do not have the means to buy a new home. This right here is a stand alone reason to support!

I'll also note that the location for these proposed townhomes is also excellent as they will be near the new elementary school that's currently under construction, meaning it would be one less worry for parents like myself having to find a safe and easily accessible way to get children to and from school. These new builds would be within walking distance.

As a current Langford resident for the past 8 years, I wanted to show my support for this proposal as I feel it will only help our growing community of young families.
