Good Day,

We are long time residents of Langford, and just found out today that there is a proposed development to built a hotel, restaurant and 30 townhomes bordering Goldstream Ave. and West Shore Parkway. We are not in favour of this development, as it would cause the destruction of trees, greenspace and ecosystems surrounding the Ed Nixon Trail and the wetlands along the lake. Furthermore, this would increase the traffic and noise in an already overwhelmed infrastructure. Please make note of our views for the public record.

We also note that our house hold has never received any advance notice of this development through the normal channels: direct mail from the City of Langford to inform the neighbouring homes of the proposed rezoning and plans for development.

Kind regards,
