We learned via CFAX radio today, October5th. that Council is discussing the elimination of burning this fall. It has been almost 1 year since we were able to burn an accumulation of forest debris on our acre property.. We would appreciate it if you would consider one day to burn what has piled up . If we had advance notice of this ban happening other options could have been considered . We do not feel this change has been given fair consideration to the residents who own acreage in Langford. Will the risk of a forest fire increase with us not clearing debris every year. We believe it will..
