Belmont Market Plaza Dedication Name – Victor Chen Memorial Park
Dear Mayor and Members of Council,
Crombie REIT ("Crombie") is the developer and owner of Belmont Market, has been working with City Staff on the dedication of a plaza to be located along Reunion Avenue to the City. In consultation with City Staff, we would like to formally request that the plaza be called "Victor Chen Memorial Park", and this official request be considered at the upcoming meeting on September 16, 2019.
We anticipate commencing construction of the plaza immediately and formally dedicating it upon satisfactory completion in late October or early November.
