A BYLAW TO AMEND THE CITY CENTRE PARK FEES & CHARGES BYLAW NO. 1203, 2008

WHEREAS the City of Langford provides recreational services to the public pursuant to section 8 of the Community Charter;

AND WHEREAS pursuant to section 194 of the Community Charter, Council may, by bylaw, impose a fee payable in respect of all or part of a service of the municipality or the use of municipal property;

AND WHEREAS Council wishes to authorize and impose the fees and charges payable for use of the services and facilities at City Centre Park;

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Langford, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

Title

1. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the “City Centre Park Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 1203, 2008, Amendment No. 1, 2016”.

Imposition of Fees and Charges

2. The Council hereby authorizes and imposes the fees and charges for use of the services and facilities at City Centre Park in the amounts set out in Schedule “A” to this Bylaw.

3. The fees and charges established under this Bylaw shall come into effect on July 1, 2016.

4. That the fees automatically be increased annually based on the annual tax increase of the City of Langford; all increase of revenue to be the City of Langford
