Commentary

The West Shore Parkway is being designed to connect the Trans-Canada Highway through the currently constructed West Shore Parkway to Highway 14/ Sooke Road; it is divided into nine (9) Segments that are designed and tendered separately from each other. Segment 3 and 4 of the West Shore Parkway is the middle section, connecting to Segment 2 (Glenshire Business Park) and Westhills (Segment 5)

A total of six (6) contractors submitted bids for this project; a summary of the bids is presented below.

A bid summary was completed by Associated Engineering which was reviewed by engineering staff. After review, engineering staff are recommending that the contract be awarded to the low bidder, Scansa Construction Ltd.
