    New development would incur park charges of $1,519 per apartment unit, $2,195 per townhouse or two-family dwelling, and $15.35 per square metre of commercial or industrial space; single-family charges are $2,195 or $3,545 depending on parcel size. The 30-year, $51.2-million program funds growth-related parkland and improvements, with $3 million assigned to the city.
