Revised townhouse proposal advanced toward future readings
Advanced a townhouse rezoning with permission for a small apartment toward future readings, subject to conditions.
Discussion
The revised plan addressed concerns about variances and townhouse-block design. Supporters said the conditions and trail connections could improve the road and neighbourhood links. Harder supported development in principle but opposed allowing an apartment use on the site, citing recent growth and the updated official community plan. Guiry said the three vertically stacked units would have a similar height and scale to townhouses.
