## Commentary

The Public Hearing for this application was held on July 20, 2026, in accordance with the Local Government Act and in accordance with the City’s Public Notification Procedures Bylaw.

Council gave second and third readings to Bylaw No. 2253 and Bylaw No. 2254 on July 20, 2026. The information considered in relation to this Bylaw as well as the video recording of the Meeting can be found at the following link of the City’s website: Council Meeting - July 20, 2026.

The applicant’s lawyer has registered a Section 219 Covenant against the title of the subject property that agrees to items 1. b. i-iv in Council’s resolution dated June 1, 2026, noted above.

This property falls outside of the 800 m buffer of a controlled access highway and therefore the bylaw is not required to be signed by the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure.

As there are no outstanding conditions required at this time, Council may wish to proceed with bylaw adoption.
