BYLAW NO. 2010
A BYLAW TO ESTABLISH FEES AND CHARGES FOR STATION AVENUE
WHEREAS the City of Langford is the lessor of lands described as LOT A, SECTION 72, ESQUIMALT DISTRICT, PLAN VIP65130, EXCEPT PART IN PLAN VIP86164, PID NO. 023-825-600 known as “The Langford Station” which constitutes a public place.
AND WHEREAS pursuant to section 194 of the Community Charter, Council may, by bylaw, impose a fee payable in respect of all or part of a services of the municipality or the use of municipal property;
AND WHEREAS Council wishes to authorize and impose fees and charges payable for the use of The Langford Station for food truck vendors, community workshop space, artist studios and business incubators;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Langford, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the “Station Avenue Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 2010, 2022”.
Council hereby authorizes and imposes the fees and charges payable for the use of The Langford Station for food truck vendors, community workshop space, artist studios and business incubators in the amounts set out in Schedule A to this Bylaw.
The fees and charges established under this Bylaw shall come into effect on May 1, 2022 and increase in accordance with Schedule A.
