Background and Commentary

Langford has two seats on the Greater Victoria Library Board, for one Council member and one citizen member. Langford’s citizen member has resigned, so there is a vacancy for Council to appoint a citizen member for a two-year term.

Options

1. THAT Council appoint Dianna Seaton to the Greater Victoria Library Board as the City of Langford’s citizen representative, for a 2-year term, ending December 2021.

OR

2. THAT Council decline to appoint a Greater Victoria Library Board citizen member.
