It has come to my notice through the news media that a forested area in Langford on Latonia of 79 acres with 2 streams running through it is being considered for development.

I am a resident of Langford and would respectfully ask that you consider this forest a protected area.

Mayor and Council have improved Langford considerably with many fine condos, rentals and recreational facilities. However, a forest is a legacy and not replaceable. You will be remembered with pride to keep it as a natural habitat.

There are many benefits to a forest and green space to be enjoyed by everyone.

Respectfully, [redacted]
