Tour de Rock — Letter from Constable Kyle Ross
Dear City of Langford,
My name is Constable Kyle Ross and I am one of the riders on the 2018 Canadian Cancer Society’s Tour de Rock - Cops for Cancer. I work at the West Shore RCMP along with my fellow rider Constable Brent Vose. Together along with a committee we are planning a coed baseball tournament that will take place at Centennial Park in Langford on September 8th and 9th.
This two day tournament is our first of hopefully an annual tournament dedicated to raising funds for Cops for Cancer. It will be a family event, featuring teams made up of police, fire, paramedics and their support personnel.
As part of this fundraiser we are looking to have a beer garden and are looking for your approval to do so. All proceeds go directly to the Canadian Cancer Society. We are hoping to sell alcohol ideally from 11am to 8pm on both of those days. We will ensure to get an appropriate liquor licence and follow its requirements.
If you would like more information on the Tour de Rock please visit copsforcancerbc.ca and any questions concerning this event hosted by the West Shore RCMP Tour de Rock Riders can be directed to Constable Kyle Ross at [redacted] or email [redacted].
Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you very soon!
Sincerely,
Constable Kyle Ross and Constable Brent Vose
