Subject: Zoning Amendment 2839 Jacklin Rd, 862/864/866 Orono Ave.

Thank you for the City of Langford meeting notice for the Planning, Zoning and Affordable Housing
Committee meeting on Monday, June 12.

Our company Sueanne Developments Ltd. built and owns the commercial development at 859
Orono Avenue which houses 5 tenants anchored by Corix Water Products and Westshore
Environmental Services.

We support the proposed Mixed-Use Residential Commercial 2 Zone.

Though we would like to ask you to take into consideration the following:

- on street parking options in the general Orono/Jacklin area are extremely limited and this
has a negative impact on the local businesses (both employees/customers).
- ensure that the proposed development takes into consideration the additional impacts it
will have on the current parking situation as it will eventually impact their new commercial
customers as well.
- ensure that there is a parking strategy for the contractors who will be working on this
project to ensure the ability for existing operations on Orono/Jacklin to be able to carry on
business.

We appreciate the opportunity to share our thoughts and wish the Developers much success on this
addition to the City of Langford.
