### Re
Remembrance Day Tents

### Letter
As you are aware, the Prince Edward Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion is well into preparations for the Remembrance Day service at Veterans Memorial Park on November 11th.

As the City has grown over the last few years, so has our Remembrance Day Service and this year we are adding a choir and an orchestra to compliment the service. In order to protect them and their instruments from the rain, we are looking to the City to help us with two 20 x 20 tents and two 10 x 10 tents. I understand the City owns the two 10 x 10 tents required, and is already providing one 20 x 20 tent so to rent a further 20 x 20 tent would be an additional expense needing Council approval. We are hoping Council will look favourably on this added expense.

We thank you for your consideration of this request and we look forward to hearing from you.

Lest we forget,

Norm Scott
President
